Cofinluxe was founded in 1976 by Jean-Pierre Grivory and is located in Paris. The company manufactures fragrances for its own lines as well as fragrances licensed by other brands. Its original name was COFCI; the name Cofinluxe was adopted in 1985. Cofinluxe’s brands include Café, a collection of coffee-inspired scents launched in 1979; the urban-accented Taxi brand in 1984; Thé, “an invitation to calm and meditation,” in 1984; and the “dynamic” Watt (packaged in lightbulb-shaped bottles) line in 1991. Cofinluxe’s most recent creation is the youthful, trendy Love Love de Toi collection of 2011.

In addition, Cofinluxe has produced fragrances under license to the Salvador Dali line since 1983, as well as perfumes for the jewelry and watchmaking brand Charriol since 2008 and the French designer and artist Alexandre Barthet since 2009.
