Korloff Paris is a jewelry house founded in 1978 by Daniel Paillasseur, who named it after a legendary diamond. Daniel Paillasseur was born in Lyon in 1948. His innovative creations had earned him international recognition and reputation before he even founded Korloff Paris. The history of the house is closely linked to the history of the largest black diamond in the world – the 88 carat “Black Korloff”.

This diamond belonged to the Russian noble family of Korloff Sapojnikoff for several generations. The legend says that this stone brings happiness, good luck and prosperity to all those who encounter it. This diamond became the symbol and the soul of Korloff Paris company. The double “K” signature is the logo of the brand.

The house began its business as a small boutique and today it is a global brand with more than 50 Korloff Paris boutiques in over 58 countries and available in more than 500 select retailers from Paris to Tokyo. Korloff Paris offers a collection of high-quality and luxurious jewelry, Swiss watches, accessories, haute couture, leather goods, optic frames, sunglasses and fragrances. Daniel, the creator, draws his inspiration from different cultures and beautiful cities from all over the world.

The first fragrance of the house was simply named Korloff, a floral – fruity fragrance introduced in 1996. In 2008, the house launched the new perfume collection consisting of three fragrances: Kn°I, Kn°II and Kn°III. Daniel Paillasseur noted: “I create outstanding perfumes for outstanding women. Drawing on an imaginary bouquet, I have created three eau de toilette for the Korloff lady, in honour of the biggest black diamond in the world which, legend has it, brings happiness, luck and prosperity to he who holds it… weighing in at 88 carats for 88 ml of delight ".

In 2010, yet another collection was launched featuring three fragrances: Korloff Lady, Korloff Man and Korloff Noir.
