Lotto Sport Italia is a worldwide famous Italian sports apparel manufacturer and designer, offering its products in more than 60 countries.

Lotto was founded in 1973 by the Caberlotto family in Montebelluna, northern Italy, the world centre of footwear manufacturing. The company launched its first football-related products in the same year. Additionally, footwear for tennis, basketball, volleyball, athletics and football were launched in the years to come.

Soon after that, they concentrated on sports clothing. Primary concern of Lotto was Italian market and then its spread its offer worldwide. The company’s strategy focused on making tennis footwear and clothing, and early on sponsored big names from the professional tennis circuit (Martina Navratilova, Boris Becker, Thomas Muster, Andrea Gaudenzi). As these players became more famous, Lott attracted more attention on their products – on the courts of Wimbledon, the US Open and Roland Garros.

In the 80es Lotto went international by designing its first football boot models and signing major collaboration agreements with internationally renowned players and teams. Tennis players John Newcombe, Andrés Gómez and José Luis Clerc wore the brand's tennis products.

The first sponsorship agreements in football were signed with players (Dino Zoff and Ruud Gullit) and teams, such as AC Milan (1993–98), the Netherlands national football team, Napoli, Juventus, Chievo Verona, and Real Zaragoza). Professional athletes helped in product design and in presentation of the company’s image. During this same period, Lotto expanded into the export market, and its international business grew rapidly.

Late 90es meant a great change for Lotto – since it was taken over by a group of local business people who were already very active in the sports area. The company was renamed Lotto Sport Italia, and its new owners focused on the brand’s strengths of dynamism, innovation, quality, Italian design, passion and an extremely effective customer service program.

Lotto’s products can be found in independent sports stores, specialty chain stores and large stores with sports departments. The company is pushing the development of corner and flagship stores.

Since 2005 Lotto has launched 10 sporty fragrances for men and women. Lotto’s latest collection, which includes four Lotto Elements fragrances, was introduced in March 2011 and achieved a lot of success. The new collection is inspired by the elements of earth, fire, air and water and offers their strength and energy transformed into four fragrances. These four fragrances provide four kinds of active energy—pure energies based on emotion, power, endurance and strength.

Lotto Air is a spicy woody fragrance opening with sparkling lemon. The heart is composed of ginger, cardamom and sage, while the base notes are cedar and sandalwood, accompanied by oakmoss. Lotto Water offers an aromatic aquatic composition, refreshing with top notes of thyme. The heart of the composition develops with ivy, geranium and cumin, while the base consists of patchouli, cedar and white musk.

Lotto Fire is woody and spicy scent with expressed accords of amber. Bergamot is at the top, cinnamon, bay leaves and cardamom are in the heart, while sandalwood, tonka and amber remain in a warm trail. Lotto Earth is an aromatic spicy fragrance opening with bergamot. The heart provides a wonderful harmony of petit grain, lavender and violet, while the base notes include Bourbon vanilla, amber and cedar.
