BEAUTY IS LIFE has been established in 1978 by Beatrix Isabel Lied. The interest in people forms the core of the entire company. In the BEAUTY IS LIFE business units Beatrix Isabel Lied combines and transfers her internationally sought know-how of almost 40 years of experience in all relevant areas of the beauty industry. The premium make-up line was launched in 2002. Today the product range covers more than 450 make-up products. In 2015 Beatrix Isabel Lied placed her first skin care products on the market. Besides her core competence make-up / creativity, she possesses a second core competence: skin care / medicine. Before Beatrix Isabel Lied has established her own make-up line, she worked as a clinic cosmetician at the Hamburg University dermatology clinic for more than 18 years.

Each of her make-up and skin care products, each education, each consultation and the entire equipment reflect her own, practice driven expectations. Among the cosmetic products, the International Academy for make-up art as well as the seminars- and workshops are parts of BEAUTY IS LIFE. Students of the International Academy receive a yearlong apprenticeship covering all relevant topics of make-up art. The apprenticeship is completed with the title of make-up artist. The International Academy pursues the goal of successfully integrating its graduates into the labor market.
