Salvatore Ferragamo launches new exclusive collection of perfumes named Tuscan Soul Quintessential Collection (by the original Tuscan Soul fragrance that came out in 2008). The perfumes premiered on Apuan Alps where Michelangelo used to obtained marble for his famous works. The collection symbolizes richness and beauty of Tuscany and the meaning of "Made in Ilaty" quality. There are four fragrances: Bianco di Carrara, Vendemmia, Viola Essenziale and Convivio.

Viola Essenziale represents a tribute to the Florence's most famous flower - iris, which was admired by Caterina de Medici. This aroma is delicate, sophisticated and enchanting. It contains fruity lychee and neroli in the top, Florentine iris absolut and orange blossom in the heart, and patchouli and musk at the base. It is developed by Sonia Constant as a floral - chypre - musky perfume.
Viola Essenziale was launched in 2013.
